Hi Everyone....Today is my day to post on the SSCC Challenge Blog
Today's Card is made using Stamping Scrapping's New Stamps Fancy Numbers (Butterfly and the Big Circle around it) , Tab Basics 2 , Bracket Basics 1 and Bracket Basics 2. I stamped them all in Memento Tuxedo Black. The butterfly I used Smooch Illuminate to color it in to give it a shiny sheen to it.

The Tab on the side is from Stamping Scrapping's Terrific Tab Die's. The paper is all (except the white circle) Basic Greys Little Black Dress.

Sewed Around

This project is a card I made with Stamping Scrappings new

Stitched with love and sew sayings stamps sets.

I used Stamping Scrappings Sewing Stamps Sew Sayings and Stitched with Love on this card. The paper is Basic Greys Little Black Dress paper, the die shapes for the spool of ribbon and the dress mannequin are Sizzixs Tim Holtz Sewing Room Die cut out in felt. The circle is Spellbinders Standard Circles Large

Bonus Project!

I made this also using the new Sewing Stamps...

This is just the plastic cup that you buy that has cupcake papers in it. I cut out felt the size of the cup them I used my Tim Holtz Ruler and marked the felt every inch and cut a small slit with my scissors to run the lace through on the top of the felt and the bottom.

I used my Spellbinders Standard Circles to do all the circles on the top. The Circles with the xxxxxx on it fit perfectly inside the cup lid so you don't need to glue them on.

My first project this month is a card I made using Stamping Scrapping's

Frog and Friends, Tab basics 1 and brackets basics 2 stamp sets.

I also used Stamping Scrappings new Beautiful Brackets for the sentiment
on the side of the dragonfly image.

The paper I used on this card is Basic Greys new patterned paper called little black dress. The Spellbinder dies I used for the dragonfly image are deckled rectangles and they are nested inside each other. Smooch Illuminate was used to color in the dragonflies and give them sparkle

Trick or Treat...

Hi Everyone!

Its my turn to post my project again on SSCC and the theme is halloween!

I made the card using bazzill cardstock and my scorpal. I used Basic Greys Eerie paper for the background and for the homemade paper flower. For the image I used Justrite Trick or Treat oval set stamped on Cryogen paper and decided to leave it uncolored to go with the color theme I used. I cut out the image and bottom orange basic grey paper layer under it with Spellbinders reverse wonky squares. I used my Bow Easy to make the bow.

Jolly Red Ornaments

Hi Everyone!

Today its my turn to show you my projects in red for the Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central. I am getting into the Christmas spirt so with this challenge I decided to make some Christmas ornaments!

These first 3 tree ornaments I used Spellbinders Tree Dies and Glitter felt. I cut out the glitter felt with the spellbinder dies using my Grand Caliber and then after adding some stars onto the front tree on 2 of them and beads on the last one I sewed them together using a blanket stitch.

For this ornament I made a gingerbread man. I hand cut him out and sewed on his buttons, eyes, mouth and ric rac before adding on his bow.

For this last ornament I used my spellbinders Basic Circles and

cut out the red and white glitter felt using my Grand Caliber. I then cut out the spellbinders tree with green felt and sewed them all together.

Sketch Challenge for SSCC

Hi Everyone!

It was my turn to host the challenge at the Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central Blog and it was a sketch image challenge...

Here is my card based on the sketch image...

I used Justrite 3 1/4 circle stamper and the Justrite Butterfly Garden Stamp. I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp it and colored it in with my copic markers. I then used some Illuminate Smooch on the centers of the flowers and dots on the butterfly. The patterned paper is from Basic Greys Sweet Threads Collection.

The Flower I made with Bazzill paper and McGill Paper Punches. The flower is a Peony and I also added some Smooch Illuminate onto the edges of the petals.

This has been such a terribly sad week. An on-line friend has experienced… what we as parents pray we never ever do, the loss of a child.

The first set of friends is Cindy and Kevin Echtinaw of StampingScrapping.com who lost their beautiful 27 year old daughter, Lindsay on Saturday, July 23.

If you would like to leave your condolences, you can do so here.

They have also been asked, if in lieu of flowers, there is anything anyone can do. A fund has been set up.

Hi Everyone!!

Its my turn to post my project for the red white and blue challenge.

I made a tissue box cover featuring the adorable Sweetheart Marci . She is stamped in Memento on Cryogen paper and colored with my copics. I added blue smooch to her eyes and added illuminate smooch to her hairband balls and buttons of her dress. I also used a white poster sharpie to dot the center of the blue in the eyes. I cut her out using Spellbinders Labels 8

For the box top I used Spellbinders Lacey Squares and then used Spellbinders scalloped hearts in the center where the tissues come up and out of. I used white ribbon and strung it through the lacey circles loops and tied it into a bow at the top. I finsihed the box off by adding a ribbon around the top sides of the tissue box.

Hi Everyone!! :)

Today it is my turn to post for the Embossing Challenge over on

Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central

I took my Spellbinder Impressibilities die and embossed the green background. I took my Perfect Pearls in Interference Red and my Flat brush and lightly put a coat onto the embossing to give a little shimmer and definition.

For my Image I used La La Lands Sitting Marci on Cryogen Paper with Tuxedo Memento Ink Pad

I colored her in with my copics and added a bit of Smooch onto her eyes, shirt and shoes. I then added some Diamond dots onto a few circles in the embossed background and on Marci's shirt and ears for earrings.

I cut marci's image out with Spellbinders Labels 8 and the red shape behind is Spellbinders Labels 1

Finally for the flowers...These are Mcgill Punch Flowers and this flower is called Begonia. I love these flower punches!! If you haven't seen all the cool flowers you can EASILY make check out the McGill Page here

My Project:

I used Cami's Trifold Card Tut from Splitcoasters for my project. I used my Wild Rose Studio's Cat and Butterfly stamp stamped on Cryogen Paper and colored in with my copics. I used Stamping Scrapping Designs Frou Frou Dies with the matching Stamping Scrapping Designs Frou Frou Stamp Set for the sentiment on the front of the card.

I used the Spellbinders Scalloped circle for the card front to make the hole and to make the frame for the hole. I used Spellbinders Deckle ovals to cut out the colored wild rose studios cat image. The purple shape on the right is Spellbinders Deckle Rectangles...to add a note to the card.

I used Smooch Grape Soda and Silver Fox to add accents to the butterfly and flowers.

Hi Everyone! Its my turn to post to the masculine challenge over on
Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central

I stamped my Luka with Truck from Lala Land Stamps onto Cryogen paper and colored it in with my copics.

On a piece of thin cardboard from a package I used my Sew Easy tool with the Cross piercer head and sewed on Stamping Scrappings new twine in bright green. Love this stuff!

The yellow background with the green stripe is also packaging from Woodware stamps. I added some of the twine to some buttons and the card itsself is Bazzill Cardstock.

Marci's Sitting Pretty

Hi Everyone!! :) Today I decided to try something new so I made a folded pouch!This is a variation of the diaper fold I came up with while foldingthe pouch. I put inside some blue and white yogert covered pretzels!

I used a La La Land Stamp called Darling Marci and I colored her in with my copics.

I cut her out using my Spellbinders Grand Caliber and Spellbinders Lacey Circles.

I thread an orange ribbon and an orange thin fiber through the holes to add more color.

I added a Stamping Scrapping Designs bow in her hair to match her outfit. Smooch white

was used to add dots onto her ribbon on her dress and eyes and Smooch Illuminate was

used on her shoes and lips to give them a little shine.

colored my owl and branch in with my copics. I them cut them out

Hi Everyone!!

Its my turn to host the Rain/water challenge on

Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central

I used a Magnolia Tilda with umbrella image that is embossed instead of stamped. Can you see the embossing though her hair? I wanted to try something different. It really turned out interesting with coloring it in with copics after it was embossed. I did use some smooch illuminate to add a bit more of the wet look adding it to the rain in her hand, top of the umbrella, her zipper, the pockets and lace on the coat and her boots.

I cut out the image with my Grand Caliber and Spellbinder deckled ovals. I cut out a Spellbinders label 8 shape to mat under the image then I cut out a spellbinders crown ovals from some of the new basic grey paper out and then cut it in half and placed it under 2 opposite corners then added on twinkle jewels.

Next I made a peony with my McGill punches and added some smooch Illuminate onto the edges of the petals to give them a dewey wet look to match the card.

I decided to make my hubby a card and this is the result.

I made a red peony using my McGill punches and Bazzill Smoothie Red paper. I love making these flowers! They are so fun and easy to do! Sooo many color combos and different types of papers to make each flower different!

I used my JustRite Nested Wedding Sentiment Stamp for the sentiment and my Stamping Scrapping Spellbinder Matching stamps called Holidays for the border around the sentiment. I used my Grand Caiber and my Spellbinder Labels 14 for the 3 cut out diecut shapes. The bottom Spellbinder label 14 shape is Prism mirrored cardstock and the bottom 2 shapes are embossed with Spellbinders Floral and Stone Impressibilities Embossing Die

Hi everyone!!

I decided to play and try a new technique I saw...and this is the result of it.

I used a stamp and embossed it with clear embossing powder. Next I used my copic which was black 110

and colored right on top of where I embossed. I then used a piece of an old washcloth and some colorless blender from a refill I have and I rubbed in circles so the color went off the embossed areas to around the embossing. I did it a few times until I was happy with how it looked. Next I took my little memento ink pad in pink and patted around the paper all over then used another piece of the old washcloth WITHOUT colorless blender and rubbed the ink around. this is the result!

To make the card I took 3 coordinating ribbons in 3 sizes and layed them on each other biggest to smallest. I added a sentiment from Stamping Scrappings Frou Frou Tags Stamp set onto the smallest Spellbinders label 14. I added some embellishments like Prima flowers Hope you all like it! ;) Let me know if you try this technique!! Its my turn to post my project for the Sparkle Challenge on SSCC

I used Bride Gilli for my card and colored her in with my copics. I used Smooch in silver and sugarberry to add detail to her headpiece and bouquet. Then I cut her out with my Spellbinders Grand Caliber and Spellbinders Labels 14. Behind her on the card is Prism mirrored cardstock I embossed using my Spellbinders Impressibilities Floral and Stone.

The Stamping Scrapping Design team have been chatting about our work areas and how messy they become so we decided on Wednesdays to take pictures and post them...now a few of the other gals who I won't mention * coughs Billie and Sheri* cleaned their areas first! LOLI can clean my area then make a card and it looks like a tornado went through..so here is my area

Right now I am going through all my stamps and stamping them into a book so I can find them easily...My cricut is behind my piles of cd boxes of stamps on the right...LOLmy copics are next to it in the black cubby I have shelves up on the right side and the left side is a paper tower hubby built for me to match my desk he built. ok so how is your desk right now? I'd love to see pictures!

Guest Designer on House of Gilli!!

Hi everyone!!! I have some awesome news for you...I am a guest designer on House of Gilli and I was the second Guest designer chosen for the blog!!! Can you tell I am excited? LOL For this challenge it is...pastels with bling!! I used Tee Gilli and colored her in with my copics. I used White smooch as tiny dots on the design on her pants and collar of her tshirt. I made her belt white with the white smooch as well. I added a tiny rub on onto her tshirt to give it a design. I added Bazzill Rhinestone in purple to her hair barrettes. I then cut her out using the Spellbinder octagons and cut out a coordinating piece of bazzill paper in the Spellbinder scalloped octagons. I added more white smooch dots onto the edge of the scalloped ocagons to finish that up. Next I made a rosette from a coordinating paper to the background paper and punched out a one inch scalloped circle from the background paper and put it on the center top of the rosette. I added a bazzill purple rhinestone to the center for bling! I added some prima flowers in white and a sentiment and put everything together! I hope you enjoyed my guest post as much as I did!! Oriental Gilli...

Hi Everyone!!

Its my turn to present my version of this challenge for pastels for Stamping Scrapping Challenge Blog and here it is! Oriental Gilli!

My Gilli image is stamped onto Neenah Paper and is colored in with copics. I used some white smooch on her buttons and on her bag. Once it was dry I used my Grand Caliber and deckled edged oval spellbinders to cut her out. I decided to try something a bit different so I cut out the Spellbinder Beaded oval and put it under the deckled oval for a different look. I added Twinkle Jewels to Finish the matted stamped image. I also cut out a smaller beaded oval and stamped a Gilli Sentiment onto it

I made the tiger lily using my McGill Punches! I LOVE LOVE LOVE these punches! And they are SOO easy and QUICK to do! Doesn't it go so well with the Oriental Gilli?

Spellbinder Dies Book

Hi Everyone!

I am here to show you my latest project!

I made a book to hold my spellbinder dies!

I used 7 cardboard sheets and cut them down to approx. 8 x 10.5... I then used 6 white heavy cardstock sheets in the same size so I could use them between pages so the magnets wouldn't stick to each other. After I cut them I used my bind it all and punched along the one edge of all the sheets then used my white owire binding and binded them all together. I next put on the magnet sheets onto each side of the cardboard pages.

After I finished the book I went to work on the cover. I used a thicker patterned paper that would stand up to a lot of handling. I used my old sizzix font dies of shadow font and cut out bazzill paper in a darker shade of the patterned paper then I used GLITTER FELT and cut out the top font letters. It looks so awesome in person!

I made a rose using McGill flower punches and tools and attached it onto the cover and added some prima mini roses as well.

The book turned out so well I am going to make another one as soon as I fill this one up! It has plenty of room and the dies don't fall off! I think I am going to add some ribbons onto the owire binding for fun

Hi Everyone!

Its my turn again to post my card for the challenge at

Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central

I used my Fairytale Tilda and colored her with my copics. I used Illuminate Smooch on her wings then used Gold smooch on the frog crown and white Smooch on the black dots that were in her wings,the center of the flowers and her cheeks.

Next I used my Grand Caliber which I ADORE and used my Spellbinders Standard Circle die to cut Tilda out. I then used my Spellbinder Lacey circles on one of Stamping Scrappings NEW products GLITTER FELT (This stuff is amazing…Spellbinders cuts its sooo well and it is fun to use in layers on cards and as projects on its own…the glitter felt really adds texture and bling to your project.) I used my glue glider and attached the Tilda image to my felt lacey circle and then attached it to my card. I added on some of Stamping Scrappings NEW flowers in white with a brad in the center and some Magnolia’s Chandelier Garland to accent the flower. Last I added on some KC Pearls to finish my card.

Hi Everyone!!

Today I made a Gilli card with Gilli chef. She is stamped on cryogen paper..I love how it sparkles!

I used Spellbinders Labels 10 to cut out the stamped image and then I did something fun and cut out the next size up of Labels 10 and cut out the shape in GLITTER BLACK FELT! This stuff is awesome! It cuts so well with the spellbinders! The borders on the top and the bottom are from Spellbinders floral and fleur doily accents and the flowers are from floral doily accents. Some gemstone bling was added to the flowers and stamped image.

Gilli in Vintage Pink....

Hi Everyone! Today is my day to post my pink challenge at

Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central

I wanted to give my card a little bit of a vintage feel so I used some vintage flowers my mother had stored away for years and some vintage ribbon I found as well. The paper and the doily pulled the look together I

think and I hope you like it! :)

I used my Florist Gilli and colored her in with my copics.G95, G97 and G99 are her pants and R20, 21 and 22 are her shirt. The flower stems are G20, 22 and 24. Her hair is B59,25 and 51 if I remember right! LOL

After I colored Gilli in I took my Spellbinders Labels 14 and taped it onto my Gilli image using Ellipse tape then placed it in my Grand Caliber and cut it out. I then took Cindys new SSDAR Frou Frou stamp set and used the Hello and added it onto her shirt. Then I used my smooch to color the flowers, her eyes and belt buckle for some added bling. I put my card together using Glue Glider and Pop Dots and ta da its done!

Felt Swirl Pincushion

Today I have to show you a felt pincushion I made. I used my spellbinder Circle dies for the top and bottom piece...my spellbinder Blosson dies for the beige 2nd layer and I used my Spellbinder Circle dies again for the top layer in a cinnamon color. I used Ecru DMC floss to stich on the swirl designs on the top and sides.

This is my card for the hop...I used Chef Gilli which is my favorite Gilli stamp. I stamped her with Memento black ink onto Cryogen paper and I colored her in with copics. Hi Everyone!!

Today is my day to show you my project for our current challenge on the Bildmalarna Challenge Blog..

Love!

I used the Bildmalarna Hugs and Kisses stamp and I stamped with White memento ink all over the card base. I then took the red memento ink pad and gently dabbed around the card base to add a bit of color. I then stamped Hugs and Kisses with the red ink on the card base and add a few new white ones as well.

For my centerpiece I used Spellbinders Scalloped hearts and cut out a red heart from Bazzill paper and then cut out a piece of pink felt for the center. I stamped the Hugs and Kisses stamp on the pink felt then I used Smooch illuminate and traced the stamped words. I sewed my felt heart onto my red paper heart and I then used the smooch to color the embossed part of the red scallop heart to add some more detail to my card. I finished the card off by adding some glitter chipboard hearts.

Red Heart...

This was my project for the bildy challenge so I decided to try something different. I tried my bildy stamp on felt! I used red Stazon to stamp. It worked great though! I used my copics to lightly add color to the stamp area and then I cut out the felt with my scalloped heart spellbinder dies in my grand caliber. I then sewed all the pieces together and the result is a new felt heart I can hang from my rearview mirror.

What do you think..do you like stamping on felt? I do wish I had used black or brown stazon but I am happy with the results!

Today is my day to post my project for the Valentines Challenge on Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central.

I decided to do a felt project and used my Spellbinders scalloped hearts and my Spellbinders hearts and cut out my felt. On the pink heart I used Stamping Scrappings What a swirl stamp set and stamped the felt with Memento black ink. I then used smooch illuminate and traced over the stamped area. Its hard to tell in the picture but it makes it glittery, I love how it turned out. I then stitched everything together and added a chipboard glittered heart. A perfect little dodad to hang on your rearview mirror, doornob, wall, etc!

Try stamping on felt and using the Smooch and let me know how you like the results!

I have been playing with felt lately and one of the projects I made were small bottlecap pincushions.

The base of the brown cupcake on the right is like the blue background but its hard to see in the photos...

it gives it a little bit of a pretty wrapper on the base then plain felt.

Stop and smell the roses....

Good Morning Everyone!!

Its my turn for the SSCC Challenge blog and the theme is flowers....I just love to use flowers on my cards and above are my favorite ones..the prima roses...

To start I used my Grand Caliber and cut out the Spellbinder die Labels 1 Shape I then stamped onto it from Stamping Scrappings Stamp set called Beaded Circles in red Memento Ink. I used Kaiser Craft pearls in white and blush on the flowers to give the stamped image more detail. I glued my label onto the card base then added some Prima Roses on top of some Martha Stewart branch punches.

Spellbinders and Bildmalarna...oh my!

Today is my day to post my challenge for the Bildmalarna Challenge Blog

and the theme is anything goes!

I decided to use one of my Mimosa Ice Christmas stamp and I used Zing in Metallic Silver to emboss the stamp on Neenah Paper. I wanted to do a nice light coloring of the image so I used my lightest colors of copics to color the image in.

Next I took my Spellbinders LACEY CIRCLES and cut the image out. I used the next size up of the Spellbinders Lacey Circles and cut out a matching circle in Bazzill Paper. I threaded some thin ribbon through the edges of both of the Lacey Circles then used pop up Glue Dots to put them together.

I made the card base with Bazzill Paper and added a piece of patterned paper in the center then

attached my Lacey Circles to the center of the card.

Red Ornament....

Hi Everyone!

Today it is my turn in the Bildy red challenge. I decided to make an ornament for my tree.

I used Spellbinders Labels 10 as the main part of the ornament. The paper I used is from Cosmo Cricut Jolly By Golly 6 x 6 paper pack (It is on sale right now for 2.99!! love this paper!) The next layer which is white are coasters! I used the Spellbinder Deckled edge classic ovals to cut out the coaster shape.(Yes the Spellbinders cut the chopboard coasters like butter!!) I then used my Red Memento ink pad and stamped my Bildmalarna Mimosa with Stocking Cap onto the coaster. I then used a cut out version of the same image and used removeable adhesive on the back and covered the Mimosa on the coaster. I used a large stamp with writing on it to add the background image. I then peeled off the cut out mimosa version I taped on and my coaster is ready to color now!

To color I used my Smooch Inks. I used my Glu Glider to glue all of the layers together, a punch to make a hole at the top to string in some ribbon and finished it off by adding on some green pearls.

Both sides of the Ornament are exactly the same. You can use these for trees, your rearview mirror or even onto the cord of a ceiling fan for a bit of holiday flair!

Oh christmas Tree

My Project is below...a Christmas card.

The card base is the green Bazzill paper. I then used my Spellbinder Labels 17 dies in 2 different sizes. I used my green Copics Spica pen to add dashes around the edges of the smaller white Spellbinder shape.

The tree I made using folded squares of Basic Grey Wassill Paper. I stamped the sentiment that is found on Stamping Scrapping Stamp set Holidays in red Memento Ink. Finally I added on some Magnolia Chandelier Garland in red and a MM poinsettia.

Black and Yellow Journal

Hello Everyone!!

Its my turn with the current challenge - yellow and black over at

Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central

I decided to do a journal that would make an awesome gift as well!

I bought a plain journal so I could dress it up. To start I added some Basic Grey papers on it that match my journal. I used one of Cindy's NEW Stamping Scrapping Stamp sets called Lacey Circles and stamped it onto some matching Cardstock using my Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. I then used my IROCK Tool and added some Pearl embellishments onto the stamped area. To finish it off I used some Matching yellow tulle and tied it around the cover. I want the journal to be simple yet flat so it could be carried in a purse and used easily. The Tulle is a great addition because it can also be used as a bookmark or looped around the whole journal to keep it closed.

I hope you enjoyed my project and it gives you ideas for Homemade Christmas gifts!

That I have made. They were made with a pattern I got from a magazine but I did alter the pattern slightly by adding the string effect on the tissue boxes top so it would match the sides.

Bildmalarna Teddy Bear Bookmark

I made this bookmark for the Bildmalarna Bookmark Challenge.

I used my Bear with Hearts Bildmalarna Stamp and stamped it onto Neenah paper. I colored the image in with my copics then I used some of the colorless blender solution and put it on a washcloth then dabbed the bear to give it some texture. I used Molasses Smooch for the bears nose and White smooch for the bears eyes with a dot of Navy Smooch. I matted my image onto Red Bazzill Bling Paper and a sheet of blue jean paper by Flair Design. I added assorted accessories which I hung 2 onto some scrapbooking floss and then threaded it though the red ribbon. I then put my bookmark into a vinyl bookmark cover. To finish it off I added on some fun fiber and ribbons.

Halloween Gilli

Today is my day to showcase my project for the Halloween Challenge.

I used my new Romantic Gilli Stamp which is made by my buddy Anary...I love these stamps!

I colored her in with my copics and used Pebbles Shimmer chalk on her sleeves. I made her eyes and the area on the hat purple by using Smooch Ink.

Next I cut my image out with my Spellbinders labels 10 and mounted it a bigger label 10 in patterned paper then mounted those on basic grey paper from the Eeerie collection. I added a witches hat onto Gilli to complet her outfit.

Now I made a paper flower out of Basic Grey Eerie paper and a 1 1/2 inch flower punch. I added a MM metal saying inside it to add some contrast then added some more prima flowers onto the card. Under the flowers are a branch punch from Martha Stewart

A survey of feline pet parents across the country commissioned by 9Lives found that an overwhelming 94 percent of cat owners are confident they feed their felines the most nutritious meals possible. Mimosa's been framed!

I made this framed card for the Bildmalarna Challenge Blog where we had to make a frame card.

I did a variation of the frame card and folded it a bit more so I would have more room to showcase my image.

I used the new Fall Stamp Club Image of Mimosa with her Books. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stamp!

I Colored Mimosa in with my Copics on Neenah Paper. The patterned paper was from Kaiser Crafts. I used Pearls for some bling and a paper flower.

SSCC Challenge

I made this card for the Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central Blog Challenge.

The Challenge was to create a card from a picture posted on the blog.

I decided to go off the colors in the photo and picked out this adorable Cosmo Cricket Paper from a paper pack called Earth Love. The Bildmalarna Stamp I used is Tossa with Mushroom which is stamped in black Memento Ink on Neenah Paper. I also used Bildmalarnas Sentiment Stamp Hugs and Kisses. I used my Copics to color her in then used Smooch to color the top of the mushroom in and add accents to her outfit. The image is layered onto a coordinating Bazzill paper. I added on a Petaloo Flower with a Making Memories fabric brad in the center.

Everything I bought except the fabric brad I bought at Stamping Scrapping.

Stamping Scrapping Challenge Corner aka SSCC

Pond Days....

Over at Stamping Scrappings Challenge Corner the theme for this bi weekly challenge is water.

I had a hard time with this card but this is what I finally came up with

I used Bazzill Cardstock for the base and stamped onto the card using Memento Black Ink. I used Copics to color my card in then used Ranger Glossy Accents to make the pond look more like a pond and wet. I used Smooch Illuminate on the bumblebees wings to make them glitter. Last thing I added was my sentiment which I stamped onto some packaging from a product that matched the paper, used my heat gun to dry it then cut it out with my Nestibilities Deckled Rectangles and thats it!

Bildmalarna 3 favorite colors

Today was my day to post my card to the Bildmalarna Blog featuring my 3 favorite colors. As you can probably tell they are sage green, red and white. The card is a slider card where the tab at the top can be pulled up to show I love you this much stamped on it.

The Image is Mimosa from the summer stamp club. She is no longer available but if you hurry you can still get the Fall Stamp club before its gone HERE

I stamped my image in Black Memento and the paper is Neenah Paper (works awesome with copics)

I used my Copics to color Mimosa in and used Smooch to accent some of the images features. The card base is Bazzill Cardstock. The patterned paper is Basic Grey for both. I finsihed my card off with Making Memories Brads and Magnolia Roses.

red white and blue

I was asked to do a red white and blue card using my Stamping Scrapping Stamps and to most people that would mean patrotic....not me! I like to think outside the box and thought a blue margarita would be heavenly right now so i did a little tropical theme using patterned paper that has hibicus flowers in blue on it, then added a hibicus flower in red in the corner. I wanted to add a splash of color so I added on the vacation chipboard piece and called it done. I colored the image in with my copics, added smooch black seeds to my strawberry and inked the edges of my image with Tim Holtz red distress ink. The stamp set I used was Cheers to you.

What do you think? Too simple or does it get you in a tropical mood?

Wedding Wednesday

Hi Everyone! :)

During the month of June on the Bilmalarna Blog we are doing Wedding Wednesdays. This week was my first turn to make a card with the new bildmalarna wedding stamps! I just love this stamp!

I used the happily ever after kit from Cosmo Cricket. It had the papers and the 2 sayings in it. I added 2 roses and 2 i do deco pins to finish the card off.

The image I used my copics to color in some parts then I used white glitter chalk to accent the dress and veil. I finished it off with smooch along the edge of the dress and the veil

Here is a new card I made using one of the stamp club stamps! Its Mimosa with a backpack of flowers! Isn't she the cutest?

Ok I stamped my Image onto Neenah paper which rocks and colored it in with my copics. I used smooch to accent the flowers. I cut the image out with my rectangle deckle spellbinder and did the same with the mat under it in Bazzill paper. The big flowers are from Petaloo.

Last Monday my son had his brain surgery to fix his Chiari Malformation.

Here is a picture of his scar. They told us originally it would be 2 inches..he has 23 stitches.

Everything went well the doctor told us and Shawn is feeling better. The dizziness is gone and he can walk like a normal person again so we are thrilled! He can't turn his head though right now because of the pain so hopefully little by little he will be able to. I just wanted everyone to know where I have been and whats going on. Thank you to all of you who have been so sweet and supportive during all of this. I truly appreciate it.

This is Magnolia's Chef Tilda.

I colored her in with my copics and then placed her on this chipboard mini frame I had and I layered that onto a scalloped square spellbinder shape. The cooking paper is from Flair designs (love them!) This is an easel card so the bottom of the base I put a white border that was punched with a Martha punch then stamped on it Whats cooking with my justrite font.

Bildmalarna Easel Challenge

This bi-weekly challenge for Bildmalarna is to make an easel card.

I started with my image which is Mimo with a tulip and Mimosa with a tulip and stamped them facing each other. I colored them in with my copic markers and added a bit of illuminate smooch on mimosa's socks and pocket edge. I finally colored the white of the neenah paper a light peachy pink to have it blend more with the papers.

The card itsself is made with red bazill paper. The white lacey paper under the stamped image is a paper doily I cut in half and glued onto the back of the image. I used my martha edge punch to do the edge of the inside of the base card.

I made this Magnolia card on Saturday and didn't think to post it until now. LOL!

I used CC Designs bench and Magnolias Tilda with chicks for this card. I stamped Tilda then masked her and stamped the bench so it looks like she is sitting on it. I colored it in with my copics. I stamped a grass stamp I have on the bottom but you can barely see it behind the sentiment and the sun. I colored those in then added blue for the background. I used my white ranger pen to add some detail on the dress, cheeks etc.

The card base is yellow Bazzill and the patterened paper is Cosmo Cricket. The flowers is a prima roses.

Bildmalarna Challenge

Good Morning Everyone!

Today is my turn on the Bildmalarna Blog to do the challenge of embossing and flowers. I chose to do heat embossing and used Rangers crystal embossing powder to heat emboss the image. The image is Mimosa Ice Christmas. I colored the image in with chalks to get a soft icy like look. I matted my image with lavender bazzill paper.

I used vintage charms to the 2 corners on the left and then I colored them lavender with my copic marker. I added 3 Prima roses and then I used some lavender chalk on them. The snowflake charm is from making memories as i believe is the metal word cherish.

Personal News...

I know I haven't been posting as much as I usually do but there is a reason. I have posted about this on my book blog but not here so those who dont visit me there have no idea that my son is sick. Back in the end of September he started to not feel right so we had to go to alot of dr apts and have alot of tests done on him. We found out he has Chiari Malformation. Its where the tonsils of the cerebellum hang down into the spinal area restricting flow of the spinal fluid causing him to feel dizzy all the time and loss of some balance and reflexes.

Well during the first week of April we are going to go back to the neuro surgeon in Philly and get pre op testing done on him. He has to have a surgery that they will cut into his neck and head, remove a piece of his skull about the size of a coke can bottom (and not put it back) and fix what is wrong with him. They are going to have to also open the dura which is the sack around the brain which is the scariest part. He will be in the hospital for up to a week depending on how he recovers etc.

Those who follow my blog know I don't post much about my personal life but I am posting about this so you all know where I am and so I could reach out and ask that you all put him in your thoughts and prayers when its time for surgery. To say I am scared silly is an understatement. He is only 16 years old and has been housebound since September.

I just LOVE this Bildmalarna Stamp!!

This is Mimosa's Teddy Bear!

To do the image I stamped the image out on neenah paper and colored her in with copics. I then colored the pants with siren red smooch and used black smooch on the dots on the slippers, teddy bear eyes and nose. Finally I gave Mimosa blue eyes using the smooch ink.

To make the card I used red bazzill paper for the card base and the back layer to the stamped image. I layered on a blue polka dot paper I had in my stash then centered a piece of white bazzill paper. Next I added some red polka dotted ribbon accross the center then added a white polka dot ribbon on top down the center of the red ribbon.

I added my colored image on, added the sentiment and some twinkle jewels for accent.

Mimosa with Chickens....oh my!

This is a card purse I made from a tut off of Splitcoaster.

To make the card purse I used Bazzill red cardstock and the background paper is basic grey and I just love this paper...I wish I had bought more of it! LOL

I used Bildmalarna's Mimosa with Chickens stamp on Neenah paper. I colored it in with Copics and used my smooch to add detail. You can't tell but the dark stripes on the shirt are siren smooch as are the stripes on the towel.

I punched holes then used brads to hold the straps of the purse on and added on a prima rose for the finished look.

Sorry I don't have more pictures and side angles..I sent this off before I took a picture! Cindy took a quick pic for me so I had an image for the post!

I made this card for the Bildmalarna Design Team Color Challenge

This card is an easel card, I used Bazzill Green paper for the base of my card and top layer that was embossed with Cuttlebug swiss dots folder.

I stamped my Mimosas Chickens with memento ink onto Neenah paper and colored them in with my copics. I mounted the image onto brown bazzill paper then onto my card base. I added some prima mini roses and a saying on the outside to finish it.

On the inside I added a basic grey paper I love, added a saying and 2 twinkle jewels to help hold the card standing up.

I made this card with Bildmalarna's Mimosa Summer Flower.

I just adore these stamps! They are sooo cute! I stamped her on Neenah paper and colored her in with my copics. I used my Basic Grey paper under the image, added some KC Pearls in the corner and some Prima mini roses to finish it off.

I have more projects that I have finished and not had a chance to post...
